The Capuchin church dates back to the year 1575, built by Lucrezia Fregoso Vitelli and was dedicated to the thaumaturge S.Antonio di Padova, it is simple with few architectural lines but with a solemn air. The current facade of the church was built in 1940 on a design by the late Father Arsenio Guidi of S. Agata and already in 1933 and had the title of Sanctuary of the Immaculate Virgin by Mons. Raffaele Santi, Bishop of Montefeltro In 1786 Father Sebastiano Ancarni from Faenza , who was guardian of the convent at that time, asked the painter Angelo Angeloni of Pennabilli to paint an image of the Immaculate Madonna; Angeloni accepted the commitment and offered the painting as a gift to the church.
