Hiking

The von Poigk family undertook some modifications in the mid-18th century, giving the castle the appearance it has today. After that it changed hands a few more times. The last lords of the castle were the von Schröter family. It was later expropriated and a school set up in it, which lasted until 1996. Now the building is empty.
