The special thing about this mill is that it is a converted inner porter. This means that the hood is placed on the wind from the inside and not from the outside with a tail. Inland porters are found in North Holland, but not elsewhere in the Netherlands.
The mill is inhabited and owned by the Rijnlandse Molenstichting.
