The Kalkmolen and the Doesmolen.
Mill path in the Doespolder in Hoogmade.
The Kalkmolen serves as the first mill of the two-pass in the Doespolder. The Doesmolen is the second mill, or upper mill. The Kalkmolen mills the water from the polder to the Doesmolen, which again has sufficient water for milling. The mills of the two-course function as an auxiliary pumping station and are used in case of extreme flooding.
The Doespolder has a size of 90 hectares. The head for both mills of the two-pass joint is 1.75 m; the lime mill carries it up approximately 0.60 m to the intermediate basin.
