Skating
De Rooie Wip is a seesaw mill on the Gemeneweg in Hazerswoude-Dorp in the Dutch municipality of Alphen aan den Rijn. The mill was built for the drainage of the Gemenewegsepolder, where it replaced a smaller mill from 1567 at a different location.
During an autumn ride with the OMNI Skaters from Alphen aan den Rijn we passed this beautiful historic seesaw mill!

In Hazerswoude, along the Gemeneweg that connects Hazerswoude-Dorp and Hazerswoude-Rijndijk, there has been a characteristic seesaw mill since 1639. The traditionally known name is Gemenewegsemolen, later the 'Rooie Wip'. Source: rooiewip.nl
