The oldest grave still in the Jewish cemetery is that of Aaron Levi, who died in 1721 and whose widow was able to purchase the Jewish cemetery for the Jewish community in 1723 through an inheritance purchase agreement.

About 200 burials took place in the cemetery. Today, 36 gravestones with 43 names remain. Around 160 gravestones were broken and removed during the National Socialist era.
