Hiking
The aim of the protection is to preserve the Hornspitze as a habitat for numerous plant and animal species, some of which are threatened with decline or extinction. It also serves as an important breeding, resting and wintering area for wetland bird species.
The nature reserve is largely inaccessible and can only be seen from the Lake Constance hiking trail.
