The Evangelical-Lutheran parish church (Markgrafenkirche) St. Cecilia was built in 1750/51 in classicist baroque forms as a hall building over a probably Gothic predecessor building. The interior is defined by a surrounding gallery system with an altar wall in the east and the organ in the west. The baptismal font comes from the baroque new building phase (dated 1751).

At the foot of the castle stands the stately sandstone building of the Evangelical Margrave Church. It was built in 1751 on the foundations of a 13th-century Gothic church. achieved. A typical Protestant baroque church was built under the direction of agricultural inspector Steingruber. The interior is defined by a surrounding gallery system with the altar wall and the baroque organ case in the east. The organ itself dates from 1911. The Crucifixion group from the circle of Veit Stoss, which was probably put together later from late Gothic wood carvings, is remarkable; Maria and Johannes probably from 1470/80, the crucifix from around 1500.
