Tips
The church in Meerfeld is dedicated to John the Baptist. It was built in its current form in 1777 and had predecessor churches that probably date back to 1239. The cemetery and church form a great ensemble - the interior of the church is also impressive in terms of furnishings. Inside, below the tower, there is a small memorial for the victims of the world wars.
