The Castell de Montjuïc is located at the highest point of the Montjuic mountain at an altitude of 170 meters. It has a fascinating history and incredible views of the city of Barcelona, as well as the port and the beach area. It receives around 1 million visitors a year. There is free admission on Sundays after 15:00. In summer there are open-air film screenings in the moat called Sala Montjuic.
