The project includes the construction of a so-called rough channel, a stretch of water that fish can pass through, which consists of 14 crossbars with natural stones in the shape of a basin. The Raugerinne connects two stretches of water with different water levels over a short distance and enables the fish to migrate despite the faster-flowing water in this section.Furthermore, the old course of the Aller is used for water drainage from higher drains, so that flood water can be drained away without any problems. In addition to the Raugerinne, the construction of a bridge over the existing side arm with a footpath and cycle path connecting to the Aller cycle path is also planned.

A wonderful resting place, but very crowded when the weather is good.
