Catholic church with a modern designed interior. The color of the glass windows is particularly striking. The rows of seats are arranged in an ascending order, thus improving the view of the sanctuary with the late Gothic high altar.

In addition to the castle, the parish church of St. John is the second important historical building in the community that can be seen from afar. It is easy to identify the building components that were built in three very different eras: the (late) Gothic three-eighth choir made of brick and fieldstone masonry, the 41-meter-high neo-Gothic brick tower with a stone base built in 1858, the facade of which was only plastered in the 1930s, and finally the large nave from 1957/58.
