The mill in Uttenhofen was mentioned in documents as early as the 12th century. The family business has existed since 1603. Rudolf Georg Maier Senior ran the mill from 1964. In 1988 it was handed over to the brothers Rudolf and Martin Maier, who continue the tradition successfully to this day.
