An idyllic small lake that was artificially created in 1970. However, the idyll is somewhat deceptive; the lake apparently has major problems due to excessive nutrient content, over-fertilization and a serious lack of oxygen. The problems have been bothering the fishing club and the city of Filderstadt for years.
