Mountaineering
A wonderful lake on French soil. It can be reached via the Stroppia-Bivacco Barenghi-Col de la Gipière Refuge or from the Terre Nere Pass, also linking the top of Tête de l'Homme. in the latter case it is a mountaineering itinerary where a helmet, harness, straps and locking carabiners are essential to overcome a rather exposed stretch with risk of falling rocks.
