Hiking
The Brandis-Waldpolenz airfield is definitely a place to capture contemporary history. But remember: Safety first! And sometimes you move in a legal gray area when entering such a place. If you take this to heart, you will still find excellent and easily accessible photo motifs for your trip into the past.

ATTENTION! Do Not Enter. In this area there are many former rocket and ammunition bunkers along the road that belong to the Waldpolenz air base. Some of them are also accessible. However, signs warn against entering.
The Brandis-Waldpolenz airfield was a German air base in the former Muldental district in Saxony. The airfield had its own siding on the Beucha–Trebsen railway line.

We recommend. There is enough parking and everything is freely accessible. No prohibition signs far and wide 👌🏻👍🏻
