Inscribed on the list of archaeological monuments in 2016. It is a passage through a so-called ravine, probably part of a historic medieval trade route between Feudingen and the Siegerland. Between the 17th and 19th centuries, iron ore from Siegerland was transported along this route to the smelting furnaces in Feudingen and on the way back charcoal from the Wittgenstein forests was loaded to wood-fired furnaces and hammer mills in Siegerland.A horse pulled a single-axle cart, resulting in tracks that dug deeper and deeper into the ground over the years. In addition, water that flowed down the gutters made the path more and more hollow. The tracks dug deeper and deeper until the rims of the carts hit the left and right sides of the ravine and could not go any further, so that over the years new paths had to be used again and again.
