View of the palace in the Great Garden. The palace is one of the earliest baroque structures in the German-speaking area. Erected in 1680 as a summer palace for the Albertines, from 1730 it was used to store parts of the royal art collections. Badly destroyed in air raids in 1945. Today the facade has been completely restored, but the interior of the building has not yet been completely restored.

The center of the Great Garden is formed by the great palace and the symmetrical pond.
The adjoining summer restaurant invites you to take a bike in the porch swing.
