The Monumenthaus is (in its current form) an open hut in the Hardtwald on Karl-Knierer-Weg southwest of Blankenloch.
Behind the house is The Monument, a stone with an inscription about two hunting successes of Grand Duke Carl Friedrich. Next to the house is a Schwengelbrunn (around 1815). The monument was erected in 1812. It was surrounded with maple trees and a fence and the monument house was added in 1815 on behalf of Grand Duke Karl. The building served as a hunting lodge and had two rooms for the master and for the servants. The fence was replaced in 1825 and the roof of the Monument House in 1881.
The house burned down on September 6, 1973. The current monument house was then built.

Several (corona-safe) rest benches around a well-made hut.
Behind the hut remains of a well and a memorial to the (heroic) hunting deeds of the ruler of the time and an almost philosophical view of life written on a stone plinth.
