Hiking

Hersbruck Switzerland. Also called Hersbrucker Alb or Pegnitz Alb and is the northeastern part of the Franconian Alb. It extends in the northeast near Schnaittach almost to Franconian Switzerland and Sulzbach Rosenberg and is mostly in Middle Franconia. With its mountain ranges, it is very popular with hikers with its demanding tours and altitude meters but also wonderful panoramic views. With start and finish in Hersbruck there are beautiful hiking trails such as the via ferrata or the 1000m hike. But long-distance hiking trails such as the Frankenweg also lead through this area.
