The district forester Ludwig Heinrich Lucas gave this impressive oak its name. With a height of over 27 meters, a circumference of almost four meters and an estimated age of over 230 years, the dimensions of the tree are impressive. Because it almost burned down at the end of the 1970s, part of the trunk had to be bricked up in the lower area.
