Our expert staff are passionate about the outdoors – whether you’re looking for weekend waterproofs or Everest equipment – we’re happy to help. We stock a range of big-brand clothing, specialist climbing equipment and outdoor accessories. We also have an extensive footwear department, featuring the top brands in walking and climbing boots, approach and trekking shoes, as well as sandals and wellingtons.

Our level 2 qualified boot fitters will help you find the correct fit for your feet, and offer advice whilst you try footwear on our test path.

Our Alpine Bikes store has an exciting range of Mountain, Road, Hybrid, Gravel, Commuter E-Bikes and Kid’s bikes from the world’s best bike brands. Interest free Finance and Cycle-to-Work options can help spread the costs and our in-house Bike Servicing experts will make sure your chosen bike is perfectly set up and ready for adventure. Whether you’re new to cycling, a seasoned roadie or mountain biker – we’ve got you covered.

Edinburgh Outdoor Experience is also home to our specialist ski workshop. Our fully trained technician carries out a range of jobs from wax and edge to a full service. Please get in touch with us for more information.
