Once on the left bank of the Isonzo River, from where it is possible to reach the Cioss Observatory, continue along the trail in increasingly limited spaces: on the left we are flanked by mudflats and sandbanks while on the right, towards Punta Sdobba, by a thick reeds. After a few kilometers, the route ends at Punta Spigolo, the last emerged portion of the Cona Island, beyond which the Isola dei Gabbiani extends. From this position you can see the Idrovia Veneta canal and on the right, about a hundred meters away, the Isonzo that flows into the sea. You return along the path backwards for about 4 km, until you descend from the initial embankment.
