Very flat walk but still enjoyable past fields of plum tomatoes then down to the river. Path a bit overgrown by river but still ok. You can swim at one point in the other side of the river at a little rapid. If you are a birder, take binoculars! Campsite is adorable

Komoot says it was only just over 5k. My other apps suggest 10k. Very steep and damgerous section just after the Aiguille Grive. It requires good shoes and sure-footedness. Great views and and a lovely walk back through the trees to Arc 1800

Nice hike. Although some on roads, very little traffic. Cheese shop open every day except Sundays and holidays!
