In this historically olive-growing area, it is very common to find farmhouses of outstanding importance, as they used to have a dual purpose.
First as a residence for the farm workers and their owners, and second as an oil mill or mill to grind the olives that gave rise to the production of liquid gold. Torre Ayosar is a farmhouse that is currently uninhabited but that in its day was an important agricultural center.
