The 14th-century Keppel Castle was almost completely destroyed in 1510 during a war between Philip of Burgundy and Charles of Egmond. It was then rebuilt in 1582. 1615, the construction was completed. Today the castle is inhabited by a descendant of the 14th century owner, Van Pallant.
