From Clifford Bridge it pitches straight up, and I'd be really impressed if you could ride the whole way up. A gravel bike or mountain bike is best, as this lost lane is rough and a bit potholed, but not so bad that you can't avoid them. Pushing up between the banks and conserved woodlands, it's hard work but blissfully quiet.
