A fantastic traffic-free link trail from Moretonhampstead to Lustleigh following a former railway line. Just like a bridleway, the trail is for use by walkers, horse riders and cyclists.

The trail is well surfaced, mainly with light gravel but is paved in a few places. There are a few new bridges that have been built to facilitate this trail, and an audio guide that you can listen along to (see the signposts or visit dartmoor.gov.uk/wildlife-and-heritage/dartmoor-story/dartmoor-story-pages/places/wray-valley for more information).

Opened Dec ‘19, compacted gravel and tarmac off road cycle path linking Bovey Tracey and Mortonhampstead. This bit links up the existing bits at the Mortonhampstead and Bovey ends.

Great family riding. Mostly steady, gentle climbing from Bovey to Mortonhampstead with a few shorter steeper sections in the middle, fun and fast return.
