Get ready for a difficult mountain biking adventure on the Campo dei Fiori Loop. This route covers 19.2 miles (30.8 km) and challenges you with 3292 feet (1003 metres) of elevation gain, taking about 3 hours and 6 minutes to complete. You will ride through dense forests, encountering everything from wide gravel paths to technical singletrack sections. As you climb, keep an eye out for the ridge, where you can often see sweeping panoramic views.
When planning your ride, remember that the trails within Parco Campo dei Fiori are used by many different people. You will share the paths with hikers and other outdoor enthusiasts, so always be mindful and respectful of everyone. This loop takes you through the scenic Parco Regionale Campo dei Fiori, a place known for its wooded areas rather than open fields of flowers. Along the way, you will pass by the historic Prima Cappella, which is part of the Sacro Monte di Varese, a UNESCO World Heritage site. On clear days, the panoramic views from the ridge might even extend all the way to the Milan skyline.
