Tips

  • bivaccorovedatti.org
The structure recovered from an ancient sediment, reproduces the architectural lines of the "Caléc", the simple high altitude huts in stone and wood with sheeting, a choice shared with the "Furfulèra" association (thematic area of the Environmentalist Association "L ' Umana Dimora ”for the study, conservation and enhancement of Italian rural houses) the large windowed gables of the gabled fronts reproduce the harmonious relationship of the voids and solids of the time.
Around the bivouac, in collaboration with the "Consorzio Pustarèsc" (private non-profit organization for land improvement), a large natural wild park has been set up with wooden benches and tables in the shade of larch and fir trees and simple wooden showcases that tell of Roberto and his commitment in the social cooperative "La Breva" and the association "Navicella" of Traona engaged for years in helping people with mental illness.

  • I'm Andrea from Dolomist. This is my experience and the info for Bivacco Rovedatti:One of the best bivouacs I've been to. There is everything you need to spend a few days in the high mountains. Spacious, one can easily find a free bed. The pantry is well stocked, there are all the basics for making your own food. Stove ready for winter, chopped wood. We have left a grill for those who want to cook something above the outdoor brazier. The structure is new and very solid. There is a water fountain on the plain before arriving, with tanks that can be filled and transported (they have a special structure to use them as a backpack). Wonderful experience, even more if you consider the project itself and the motivations of those who built the bivouac and park.
