Devil sculpture at the Devil’s Bridge

The artist put a sculpture of the Sparifankerl on the Teufelsbrücke.He sits there on a large boulder, marked by life. A flamethrower in one hand and a trident in the other. He has already lost one eye in a fight. Is that what the prince of Hell looks like? "No. Of course not. Des is a very friendly fellow, ”says Franz Baier. Today at the Kohlenmeierplatz (coal kiln square), we learned a great deal about the history of charcoal burning.
