The Pertill mill is part of the mill hiking trail (trail no. 61) The double mill has two separate mills and was built between the 16th and 17th centuries. It was in operation until 1967. The water rights were shared between both owners. There was only enough for one plant each. Rye, wheat and oats from their own cultivation were milled. At night, the mill waited for the milling of the cut grain. The cut grain is the rest in the feed container under the cut grain flap. When the container was empty, this flap went up and shut off so that the millstone did not run dry.
During the day, the mill was often left running alone.
