Cycling
There was a schoolmaster in Sonnenborstel as early as 1741, and the wealthy farmers in the village probably built the small half-timbered building in the town center as a school around this time. Later used as a cemetery chapel, the old school was renovated in 2000/01 and now serves as a village community center.
