"The Church on Rails". Welcome to Norway's first and only railway band - probably the only one in the world - parked at the terminus of the Rauma Railway. This beautiful, old and venerable railway wagon, a gift from NSB, has served many travelers for a long time. In a world full of unrest and noise, it should now, as a small chapel on rails, offer people peace and quiet. The Åndalsnes Railway Chapel was consecrated on June 10, 2003 by Bishop Odd Bondevik in the presence of King Harald and Queen Sonja.
