After extensive renovation work in 1954 and 1976, during which the statue, which was once brightly painted, was stripped of many layers of paint, the little sanctuary shines again today in its old splendor. It was built in 1885 on the occasion of a marriage and the associated name change.
The statue of Our Lady is an original, of which there are only six plaster casts in Germany.
