The Müllachbach has its source in the area of the Königsleiten reservoir, northeast of the Sattelscharte. From there it initially flows northwards and takes in the water of other small mountain streams. South of the Müllach-Grundalm it changes its direction of flow to the east, where it flows into the Salzach coming from the north at the height of the Müller Hochalm. At the mouth there is a bench where you can rest and enjoy the wonderful landscape.
