The Ludwigstraße bridge leads over the Rhein-Herne-Kanal in the course of Pöppinghauser Straße.
From there you have a good view to the east on the lock Herne-Ost.
On 20.03.1996 she was admitted to the monument list of the city of Herne.
Between 2001 and 2003, the old Ludwigstraße bridge over the Rhine-Herne Canal in the north-east of Herne was replaced by a new bridge. It belongs to the following type of bridge: "arch bridge, arch above the carriageway, bar arch bridge" & was made of steel with a span of 110.00 meters.
From there you have a good view to the east on the lock Herne-Ost.
