We finally want to go swimming today, as the round water holes or lakes in the Somerensche Heide near Komoot have the 🏖 beach sign.
If you have the best intentions, you can still recognize something like a beach, but swimming or at least bathing is out of the question given the dry edges that are growing in the areas of the extremely flat shores.
The sixth and largest lake among them, the Keelven, seems to be more “stable”, but has an animal-friendly reed belt and therefore turns us away.
