Bike Touring Highlight
The Pfennig Bridge was first built in 1900 during the time of the German Empire as a privately operated wooden bridge over the Aller. At first passers-by had to pay a penny bridge toll, later the double amount. Cyclists, be considerate of pedestrians, because there is no separation between bike path and footpath.
