If you walk further, you will arrive in the second part of the Westerpark. This section has geometric shapes and a wide path made of Chinese granite. The cellars of two former gas holders are connected to each other and serve as a pond. In line with this and parallel to the railway line is a tight, wide watercourse.
There are three level differences in the park that ultimately lead to the 'wetlands' - the Water Nature Garden with various flora and fauna described on the various signs.
