The Dinter Monument on Dinterplatz is made of red granite. It was established in the spring of 1898 as the “King Albert Monument”.
But then came the night of August 18th to 19th, 1949, when unknown persons stole the bronze bust from its base.
The remaining base of the former “King Albert Monument” was then converted into the Dinter Monument that still exists today, which was inaugurated on April 24, 1951 to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Dinter School.
