The last genius bridge...
On its long stretch, the Antitankgracht (ATG) crosses a number of important roads. Most crossings were realized by an earthen dam, with large boilers underneath for the water of the ATG. Minor roads were sometimes connected with removable metal bridges. Today most bridges have also been replaced by earthen dams. The remains of the 'only preserved example' are located at this location on the edge of the fort moat.
For the connoisseurs: this is a bridge of type PL 30
