Nordhesse
The very popular "Lehanka Hut," located halfway between the village and the Boyneburg ruins, was named after Georg Lehanka (teacher and later principal of the Datterode elementary school from 1949 to 1960).
Lehanka, who has since passed away, was also the creator of the "Datterode Song."
