The Rhinau power plant is a run-of-river power plant on the Rhine in France. It is located in the town of Rhinau in the Bas-Rhin department, but the closest town is Diebolsheim. On the German side is the unincorporated area of Rheinau. In contrast to the four power plants along the Rhine side canal, the water for the power plant is only diverted from the Rhine over a length of around 11 kilometers (so-called loop solution). For shipping, a lock with two lock chambers was built in the power plant canal parallel to the power plant.
