The Clock Tower is one of the symbols of Brisighella and is located on a hill overlooking the chalk gullies that surround the area. The tower was built in 1290 and was part of the defensive system which consisted of the fortress and the walls. The watch has the particularity of moving on a mechanism that only counts 6 hours, created in this way to simplify the mechanics and reduce wear on the mechanisms.
