The Morlaix Viaduct is a viaduct-like railway structure in the heart of the town of Morlaix, allowing the crossing of the Morlaix River and the service of the municipal railway station by the Paris-Montparnasse to Brest line.
that29. January 1943As part of the Allied strategic bombing campaign, eight US Royal Air Force fighter-bombers dropped 43 bombs on Boston, accidentally killing eighty locals. A single bomb damaged the viaduct, which was quickly repaired. The viaduct at La Méaugon, also important but far from any settlement, was not bombed.
