Old people's home and nursing home of the Sisters of Charity of St. Vincent de Paul.
The forest sanatorium was opened as the oldest people's sanatorium in Bavaria on November 19, 1898. The idea of building a sanatorium came from Hugo von Ziemssen, who founded an association for people's sanatoriums in 1894. The management of the house was handed over to the Sisters of Charity. The first house superior was Sister Theophila. The chapel was built in 1924. From 1898 to 1984 the forest sanatorium served as a lung sanatorium. Since tuberculosis decreased in the 1980s, the clinic was closed and from 1985 it was run by the Order as a nursing home. In the beginning, only religious sisters were admitted, but since 1997 "civilian" residents have also been admitted.
