During his 36-year service as district manager of the Bad Sobernheim municipal forest with a forest area of 850 hectares, around 70 kilometers of forest hiking and logging paths were expanded.
It has also left some bits of green and a few splashes of color around the town of Bad Sobernheim. The bridge to the Nachtigallental, the “Kurt-Eimer-Tempelchen” and the “Gottesbrünnlein” complex were all created under his direction.
On September 12, 1970, the “Am Maasberg” educational forest trail was inaugurated and the associated “Hubertuslust” hunting lodge was converted into a hunting lodge and shelter.
