This charming row of houses used to be the residences of the coastguard captain, his team and their families. It's not hard to see why – the location has incredible views across the sea.

Today, they're privately owned, accessible only by farm track and have scant connection to utilities.

Great little cottages at the top of the hill, like the metal gate. Very windy up there, be careful near the cliff edges.
