Crimean War Cannon, a silent witness to a bygone era of conflict.
The Crimean War, fought between 1853 and 1856, was a significant event in world history. It was during this war that this cannon likely saw its share of action.
Today, this cannon is no longer a weapon of war, but rather a symbol of peace and history. Resting on the battlements of the Martello Tower, it offers a stark contrast to the tranquil surroundings of Sandycove. 🏰🔫🌊
